Billing

We send invoices for completed billing periods only after the billing period has ended. Private customers are billed four times a year: January, April, July, and October.

Low-consumption customer (e.g., detached houses)

• We send four estimated invoices, and one invoice based on consumption annually if the property has a mechanical water meter.
• To receive a consumption-based invoice, the customer must inform the water meter reading.

Smart water meters

Properties with a smart water meter will always receive an invoice based on actual consumption of water, according to the billing schedule.

Reporting readings for semi-detached houses

If the property has a mechanical meter and you wish to always receive consumption-based invoices, the water meter reading must be reported to Tampere Water on the specified dates.
